Place water & mushrooms in lge pot; bring to a boil, lower heat & simmer for 20min. or until tender. Remove 1 cup of sliced mushrooms. Set aside.
Use small white mushrooms or any of your choice. Allow longer cooking time if using dried mushrooms.
Add Cream of Mushroom Soup Mix. Simmer for 20min.
With hand blender or potato masher, puree or cream soup. Return mushrooms to pot; add cream & wine(optl). Warm for 2 min. Makes 10 servings. Garnish with fresh parsley.

    This was my 3rd and I made it tonight – yummy and again great portion size! Next time I will add more and a variety of mushrooms as i really like it to be full of mushrooms – and no my son would not touch this one with a 10 foot pole – lol

    we love this soup, including our granddaughter! I add lots of mushrooms, I’ve found a mixed variety and only chop up the larger ones.
