Creamy Clam Chowder
To make: Cook the bacon/ham until crisp and drain off the fat. In a large pot, place water and clam juice mix and bring to a boil. Add cooked bacon/ham, Creamy Clam Chowder Mix, and wine (optional). Bring to a boil again. Lower heat and simmer for 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Add clams and simmer for 5 minutes. Add cream and hot sauce (optional).
Serve in bowls. Top with oyster crackers (optional). Makes 10 servings.
Made this delicious soup in our Instant Pot… Wow! Just amazing. Very flavorful and quick to make.
